I can’t believe that there will be no more HP books. I started reading them out of curiosity and I just got sucked in. I knew ahead of time who all would die. (I’m a sucker for spoilers). But I was still shocked when I read each of their deaths. I think the one that shocked me the most was
You ever feel like life is one big, nasty game of whack-a-mole? I’m starting to feel like that’s what our life is like. We find out our apartments are going condo, and work hard to buy ours, and *WHACK* we get thumped down multiple times. We finally climbed our way back out to our next adventure, and *WHACK* we get thumped again. I just can’t wait till this whole thing is over and we can just move on with our lives.
And on that note, since hubby has been sharing the good news, it’s time I shared a little piece of it with you, my readers. We are really, really excited about all this.
We’ve already put the earnest money in. Now we’ve just have to put down the construction deposit, and then, hopefully, by the end of the year we’ll be in. Once the construction deposit is done, I’ll post more pics, including pics from our lot and the floor plan of our house.
Things happen for a reason. I really believe that. Unethical practices by a mortgage broker is why we are walking away. I was shocked by what he asked us to do. Scary thing is it was all legal. Just his way of trying to bypass the rules. Even worse, same thing happened to the apartment manager. And you wonder why the mortgage market is in as bad a shape as it is. But no worries. I thought I’d be upset by walking away from this place. But I’m not. We’ve got something else planned, but I don’t want to spoil things. I’m trying to keep positive thoughts on our future. Once everything is in place, I’ll spill the beans. And I’ll be sharing TONS of pics too. I’ve got 4 pics already, but you’ll have to wait till the end of July to see them. So please keep the positive thoughts rolling this direction.
